The archaeological site of Mycenae can be characterized as one of the most important historical monuments of ancient Greek culture, gathering crowds of tourists from every corner of the earth. Mycenae is an ancient city of the prefecture of Argolis and a kingdom of mythical king Agamemnon. By walking around the archaeological site, one can admire the great palaces of Mycenae, which began to be built at the highest point of the hill during the Late Helladic period, around 1350 BC.

Epidaurus is the most important ancient place of worship of the god Asklepios, built on a windy picturesque bay, boasting both for its incomparable natural beauty as well as a monument of worldwide cultural – and not only – heritage. Today, the greatest attention attracts the famous theater of Epidaurus.

Nafplio is the capital of the Prefecture of Argolis and the first capital of Greece and is a picturesque town with a great historical and cultural tradition. Built at the foothills of two fortresses, Palamidi and Akronafplia, today it has about 19,000 inhabitants and shows ever-increasing tourist development.
